“Operation: Can You Hear Us Now” MARCH ON THE MEDIA
This is the perfect opportunity to begin doing what we all agree needs to be done: confronting the propaganda ministry head-on, and at the same time beginning to implement the ACTIVE Strategy for Tea Parties outlined in the last post. You want to get ACTIVE? Here’s your chance.
The “mainstream media” is no such thing. It has become the de facto propaganda ministry for the current socialist regime in Washington. Anywhere from 500,000 to 2 million patriots assembled in D.C. last Saturday and were disparaged, ridiculed and generally ignored by these elitist scum.
Maybe we cannot repeat this event in one place, but surely there are many who wanted to go and couldn’t. For every one patriot who went to D.C. there are probably 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.
If you couldn’t participate in the National Tea Party in D.C., you won’t want to miss this next grassroots event in YOUR town on October 17, 2009.
Can’t get the media to real news events? Well, take the real news to the media! Let your voices be heard - LOUDLY!
UPDATE: We are hammering out the last-minute details and securing financing for ACTIVE T-shirts. ACTIVE banners are also on the way. If everything goes as planned, these materials should be available in time for October 17th.
UPDATE: ACTIVE has formed an alliance with the Sons of Liberty Riders. They are a nationwide organization of patriots with a structure similar to ACTIVE. They are going to be strong allies in the fight to restore the Republic. Check out their website to coordinate activities for October 17, and stay tuned for the latest developments.
UPDATE: Tea Party Nation is now on board. In addition to this website, ACTIVE is recommending coordinating all activities at the Operation: Can You Hear Us Now Facebook page. ACTIVISTS: This Facebook page is the place to coordinate activities for the October 17 operation. Besides this site, this is the place to list any events you are organizing, find people and events, or find requests for events in your area. For those of you who have not already done so, please post the information for your events on all appropriate Group wires as soon as possible.
On the Facebook page:
Click on the NOTES box for info on adding events. Click on the DISCUSSION box to coordinate and discuss activities.
Step 1: Find your local event from the “events” box and RSVP. (if you don’t see an event from your area, start one by emailing marchonmedia@gmail.com)
Step 2: Invite all of your local contacts from the event page.
Step 3: Participate! Plan a march on media for October 17th. Identify and target local left-wing media outlets.
Step 4: Use your 1st Amendment Rights. Meet up with your local marchers and march on your target. Make sure you are on public property. Bring your signs, banners and voices to the event.
Official ACTIVE promotional and recruiting materials are available at cost through the ACTIVE storefront. Simply register your information and put ACTIVE as the company name. This will allow you access to the various ACTIVE printed products, which will be displayed at the top of the category list on the left-hand side of the page. The materials will also soon be made available on the site in electronic form for anyone who wishes to print them on their own.
Bring “Don’t tread on me” Gadsden flags, and some “Come and take it” flags so they’re in every media shot.
