URGENT Notice To All ACTIVE Video Operatives

There is a protocol that must be followed regarding all ACTIVE video distribution. Keep in mind, that it us of the essence that all ACTIVE video operatives remain in constant and swift communication with Dave and/or myself to maximize our distribution, exhibition and publicity assets. In short, if you’ve got something that deserves to be on Drudge, Breitbart TV, Pat Dollard, Hot Air or elsewhere, it is important that the video, at the moment you know you’ve got a gem (and that could be right out in the street at the very moment you’ve just shot some amazing footage) be made known to me, so I can spring into action with all due haste and take whatever steps necessary to close the deal for it’s exhibition on these larger national venues.

Here is the production and internal distribution protocol as laid out by Dave Dunbar, ACTIVE’s National Video Operations Officer:

The purpose of the ACCDF Video page on Youtube is twofold:

First, to expose the public to stories that the mainstream media refuses to report, or reports inaccurately.

Second, brand awareness to support and expose the ACCDF brand.

All videos submitted should do so with these two goals in mind. They are broad goals and cover a lot of territory while still allowing for focused creativity.

When submitting videos you must follow these guidelines:

1. Videos should be in either .avi or mpg (mpeg) format. Conversion of the videos to edit in ACCDF info is time consuming and sometimes just wont work. There are multiple formats to shoot in. Your camera should have come with software to convert to one of these formats.

2. Please edit to the “money shots”. 25 min videos submitted with a 2 min confrontation are overwhelming to work on. You shot the video and know what’s usable. Give some background, but edit out what you can. You tube limits to 10 min clips. Most people wont watch longer then 3 or 4 min unless there is action.

3. Be creative. The videos that brought down ACORN were so outrageous and outside the normal scope. Music videos are cool as well as artsy stuff. We will have different categories so don’t feel limited to only confrontational or expose videos.

4. Remember to have fun. This is a counter-propaganda campaign. We are right, they are wrong. Being right should allow you the freedom to explore and be proactive. You have the right to go just about anywhere and shoot just about anything. There is no expectation of privacy in public. Act like you belong and get in there and get ACTIVE.

5. Submit video using www.yousendit.com. Yousendit is a free service and allows us to get your videos, integrate the ACCDF logo and get them on Youtube. The ACTIVE email account to send them to is: activevideo@hotmail.com

If you have any further questions, do not lay them out here in the comments like an amateur. Contact Dave Dunbar through the ACTIVE message system or by email. All ACTIVE Video Operatives are hereby granted authority to jump the chain of command, and deal with Dave directly. Be sure, however, to inform your immediate superior of your general activities. In other words, give them a basic heads up to the broadstrokes, but don’t bog either one of you down with reporting all comm.

Introductory Statement From The Newly-Appointed South Dakota State President

I would like to thank John & Pat for this opportunity to represent ACTIVE here in South Dakota, home of The Shrine of Democracy - Mount Rushmore.

At this time we do not have very many members, but I do plan on changing that very soon. The members we do have I can guarantee you ARE TRUE PATRIOTS.

A little about myself : I am a 45-year-old disabled ironworker. I am the father of 4 great kids - 2 girls, 2 boys. The oldest is 21 and works as a supervisor for DirectTV, the youngest is a 13-year-old in the 7th grade. My wife is a Registered Nurse here in Rapid City, she has been in nursing since 1981. I can no longer work according to the doctors because of my damaged back, so please humor me when it comes to clerical/computer tech… I admit I am a novice.

I was born in Canada (my father was working up there at the time), and grew up in North Dakota. My mother used to work at the USO in Minot, and that was my hangout as a child. I could beat MOST of the Air Force guys in pool at the age of 9 and, living in N. Dakota, shooting and fishing were just part of life. The life I had as a child is NO DIFFERENT than the one I am trying to give my children, and I am, but the Government seems to want something different for them.

The people in ACTIVE are a SPECIAL breed, they all seem to love their country more than their Representatives in Washington, D.C. For this reason I am humbled and grateful for this opportunity.

As our Video Operations aka Video Commando teams continue to produce work, it will be consolidated on that page, as well as published on this site and PatDollard.com.

UPDATE: ACTIVE has officially partnered with Operation: Can You Hear Us Now, and GrassFire.Org, Patriotic Resistance, and “Flip This House” are now on board.

The operation is up on the Fox Nation website in the culture section and has generated a lot of discussion. It’s also up at Glenn Beck’s 9/12 Project.

There are now 115 events scheduled and others are still being organized.

The CNN event is going to be huge — groups from all over the southland converging on their Atlanta headquarters and motorcycle riders storming through the streets.

“Operation: Can You Hear Us Now” MARCH ON THE MEDIA

This is the perfect opportunity to begin doing what we all agree needs to be done: confronting the propaganda ministry head-on, and at the same time beginning to implement the ACTIVE Strategy for Tea Parties outlined in the last post. You want to get ACTIVE? Here’s your chance.

The “mainstream media” is no such thing. It has become the de facto propaganda ministry for the current socialist regime in Washington. Anywhere from 500,000 to 2 million patriots assembled in D.C. last Saturday and were disparaged, ridiculed and generally ignored by these elitist scum.

Maybe we cannot repeat this event in one place, but surely there are many who wanted to go and couldn’t. For every one patriot who went to D.C. there are probably 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.

If you couldn’t participate in the National Tea Party in D.C., you won’t want to miss this next grassroots event in YOUR town on October 17, 2009.

Step 1: Find your local event from the “events” box and RSVP. (if you don’t see an event from your area, start one by emailing marchonmedia@gmail.com)

Step 3: Participate! Plan a march on media for October 17th. Identify and target local left-wing media outlets.

Step 4: Use your 1st Amendment Rights. Meet up with your local marchers and march on your target. Make sure you are on public property. Bring your signs, banners and voices to the event.

Introductory Statement from the Newly-Appointed Virginia State President

All,

I am John Cosgrove, the new President of ACTIVE’s Virginia Chapter, and host of blogtalkradio show Radio Free Dar al Harb.  As the past President stepped up to fill a more senior organizational roll within ACTIVE, I too have stepped into the breach, and will lead Virginia’s ACTIVE Chapter.  I am Springfield, Virginia’s native son and have lived here nearly all of my life.  My father survived Khobar Towers in 1996, my wife 9-11, and I lost two of my company at the Pentagon.  Like so many of you, those who threaten to dampen Liberty’s light have knocked on my door, and I’ve decided to knock them out.  Our beloved republic is beset by socialists, Jihadists, and useful idiots intent on the destruction of the United States of our Founding Fathers.  Our area of operations in the counter-revolution is the Old Dominion.  Sic Semper Tyrannis is our motto, and so must we oppose tyranny in all its manifestations.  Get active, fight back.

A strategic plan will be forthcoming shortly, but we most mobilize for impact for Operation: Can You Hear Us Know and the upcoming elections.  On Oct. 17, there is a nationwide event to protest media bias.  Go to: http://accdf.com/blog/2009/10/06/operation-can-you-hear-us-now/ for more information, please pay special attention to the “message” and discouraged signs. I’ve been in the trenches on the Fairfax Front for a couple of years, and we’ve been able to have an impact with just six people.  With the full State coordinated, we will get off defense, and take the fight to their door.

America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

* Officers swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to “obey the orders of the president of the United States.”

* Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.

* They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.

* They can see that the economy — ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation — is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.

* They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.

* They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as America’s troop strength is allowed to sag.

* They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.

* They can see the nation’s safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.

So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?

Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan’s arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?

Wait until Israel is forced to launch air strikes on Iran’s nuclear-bomb plants, and the Middle East explodes, destabilizing or subjugating the Free World?

What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, “I’m not interested in victory”) that they will be denied troops they must have to win? Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?

Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?

Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of America’s military leadership is lost in a fool’s fog.

Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?

Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.

Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don’t shrug and say, “We can always worry about that later.”

In the 2008 election, that was the wistful, self-indulgent, indifferent reliance on abnegation of personal responsibility that has sunk the nation into this morass.

Introductory Statement from the Newly-Appointed California State President

I am grateful for the trust ACTIVE has placed in me to become California State President and it is my intent to be worthy of that trust.

Dean, our recently retired State President has had to step down from his leadership position for health reasons. Dean, you were awesome to work with and I feel proud to have partnered with you to have an ACTIVE presence at the Sacramento Rally — the rally that served as the kick-off for the Tea Party Express and brought national recognition to California’s plight of over-taxation and over-regulation.

We have a tremendous amount of work to do in California. Many people have written our state off as beyond hope. Not me. I’m a firm believer in “As California goes, so goes the nation”. For better or worse, California has always been a leader in advancing movements. And what I have witnessed to date is an awakening that has released pent up anger and frustration toward the governing status quo. We have said “Enough!” We realize our sin of complacency and have vowed “No More!”

With the awakening I see in California, comes a realization for a call to action. People are hungry for it. They are looking for leadership. I feel ACTIVE is positioned to grow and to advance a movement toward grass roots activism. We will lose this war if we continue to be on the defense. It is time to be on the offense — to push hard and not back down. There can be no water carrying for a political party. The only standard will be the Constitution. As such, the state goals I will advance for California are:

1. Educate the educable!
2. Identify state seats that are up in 2010 and advance those candidates that are worthy of our Constitution.
3. Use ACTIVE as a platform to create a coalition of conservative groups in California.
4. Work with California gun rights organizations and politicians to repeal anti-gun legislation.
5. Other goals as identified by California’s Regional Leadership team.

These are daunting goals, but we are at serious risk of losing the country we love if we do anything less.
